I used to play a shotgun trickster with these same abilities, but it's a waste of time and doesn't play into a tricksters strength. Just don't melee marked targets or you will waste the mark. Use melee when you get swarmed, it knocks enemies back and slows them. For defensive mods Damage Absorber is good, maybe some mods that go off when you are low HP. ![]() If you are early on in Campaign you can use some defensive mods, but don't use too many or you won't have enough damage. Eventually should be able to do it by feel. At first you can hold the button to enter aim mode and see which enemies it targets, see how the targets change when you aim higher. Very important skill to learn, just takes a bit of practice. It is possible to jump to the last enemy in a group if you aim above the crowd. ![]() Try to get to enemies around the edges, don't jump in the middle where you are most exposed.
